We gotta make sure we’re following all the relevant codes and standards, which can be a real pain in the ass 🍑. Plus, there’s all sorts of paperwork and bureaucracy we gotta deal with. It can be a real drag 😒, but it’s just the way things are.
And don’t even get me started on dealing with stakeholders. 😤🤯 When you’re designing infrastructure, there are a lot of people who have a stake in what you’re doing. Maybe it’s the local community or the government or a private company. All of these groups have their own interests and priorities, and sometimes those interests conflict. It can be a real challenge to navigate all of those competing demands and make sure everyone is happy. But hey, that’s just part of the job, right? 🤷♂️
Overall, designing infrastructure is a tough gig. There are a lot of challenges we face, from limited resources to existing infrastructure to regulations and stakeholders. But at the end of the day, it’s a really rewarding job. When you see something you helped design and build standing strong and serving its purpose, it’s a pretty awesome feeling. 💪👷
